A book came in from the Princeton Univ. Press in 2001 about charter schools. As the authors tell us charter schools are out there since 1992. The total number of them as of 2001 was approximately 1500. How about the Turkish run charter schools, aka gulen charter schools? The total number of them across the country is nearly 130 as of 2012. It is huge comparing to the number of the entire charter schools across the nation. These gulen charter schools create job opportunities for Americans. And let's not forget the fact that charter schools are indispensable components of public education here in the US. And they can save public education.
